Citizen Science

Citizen science is the involvement of general people for scientific research. It involves participatory monitoring and actions in the research whose outcomes often progressed to complex research. This sort of inclusion increases the understanding of research values to a wide range of public. This collaborative approach broadens the research boundary also increase scientific knowledge. Furthermore, it will encompass the research hub for new data dynamics in the environmental field. Community-based groups may generate ideas and engage with scientists for advice, leadership, and program coordination. Interested volunteers, amateur scientists, students, and educators may network and promote new ideas to advance our understanding of the world. So, NCI-Nepal aligns itself to bridge the knowledge gap and knowledge transfer.

  • Participatory conservation projects
  • Field Survey and protocol for Community Based Conservation Monitoring projects
